OK I'm getting bugged clicking on the same old list. I need to find a new place where the kids are hip.

You should read the blog of "Mencius Moldbug" over at Unqualified Reservations.
He actually only posts once a week, so you don't have to check him daily. Though his weekly posts are pretty substantial essays.
This site, "Moldbuggery" provides an organized index of his essays divided into categories.

I only read Yglesias because I’m old and being horrified helps get the ol’ blood pumpin’ in the morning.
This morning's scary Halloween post sure got the blood pumpin':

I assume you need to kill exactly one hour that the government has graciously allowed you to borrow for five months. I would recommend Errol Morris essays on his NYT blog. They don't come around often but when they do it is as good as blogging gets.

He used to run the hedge fund named Asteri Capital, which he disbanded prior to the crisis because he felt that there were too limited opportunites for profitable investment. He also was the head of fixed income research at BoA a few years ago. He offers some interesting market focused commentary, and his posting are not frequent enough to inundate your feed, like other market focused blogs (zerohedge or calculated risk).
