The Wonders of the Internet

I've enjoyed Rick Rolls, and I enjoyed seeing the young Bill O'Reilly explosion when it first surfaced. Can the two be married? Apparently so (HT2 Brad DeLong), and watch out for the F-bomb if you are viewing in a sensitive location (or have morals):

How does the F-bomb fit into morality? I take it as merely impolite.

Bill O'Reilly, as usual, is "merely impolite". The F-bomb is nothing more than icing on the cake. I'd rather hear the f-bomb than O'Reilly any day of the week. :)

Brian, unfortunately I can't give you exact verses, but I think there are parts in the New Testament that tell you to watch your tongue, not be profane, etc. I would feel bad if I dropped an F-bomb and a little kid saw it, for sure.

I know the verses you are referring to, but I was just wondering if you had any new insight than the standard response. I don't feel quite the compulsion to completely irradicate it's use from my vocabulary.

I always think its use demonstrates a distinct lack of creativity on the part of the speaker. English is one of the richest languages ever and a four letter word is the best you can do? Besides, what will you have in reserve for when the storm troopers come for you?
