My Investment In Deeply-Out-of-the-Money Callahan Calls Pays Off
No joke, whenever Gene Callahan rants against the people on the front lines in the intellectual battle against the Leviathan State, I get emails to the effect of, "What's up with your buddy?" "Why do you associate with that guy?" "Should I keep recommending Economics for Real People?"
I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me more of the guy who writes stuff like this:

You may have seen the status going around Facebook that reads, “[JOHN DOE] thinks that no one should die because they cannot afford health care, and no one should go broke because they get sick.” (This is meant to be an argument for Obama’s health care package, I surmise.)Normally the only blog posts that make me laugh out loud are my own. The above was a pleasant break.
Well, I posted as my status another blurb, not original to me, that says, “No one should be frozen in carbonite, or be slowly digested for a thousand years in the bowels of a sarlaac, just because they couldn’t pay Jabba the Hut what they owe him.”

Gene Callahan is awesome because he'll fight with anybody. He's like the bipolar kid at school that no one realized was bipolar and everyone just thought he was angsty and imbalanced.
(Gene isn't bipolar, is he?)
He's also awesome because he's the only person I can think of who, based upon his behavior, argumentation ethics and personal accomplishments (wrote a book) I would imagine is anywhere in the age range of fiesty self-proclaimed 'pretty smart' 16yo liberty neophyte to disheveled, deeply entrenched long-time liberty crusader of 50ish with a beard and who writes all his posts from a public library computer because he doesn't have the internet (or electricity) back in his loner-shack in the woods.
I enjoyed fighting with him in the past (about what, I can't even remember) and I look forward to fighting more with him in the future (though it'd maybe be more productive for everyone involved if he mostly tried to target Silas Barta with his anger).
What do you say, Gene, do you got a sight on that angry-gun, or just a trigger?
