"I Own Me"

If you can overlook the use of vulgarity and the failure to use reflexive pronouns, this is pretty sweet. At first you might think, "Oh it's just some punk kid who hates rules," but it's actually pretty sophisticated. (HT2LRC)

Comments:
How can Leviathan last even another generation when even the low rap culture starts to peek behind the curtain of the feral Fed?

I don't know that "low rap culture" is how I'd describe this. I've watched it about three times now, and each time I catch new lyrics. E.g. near the part where he shows Bernanke grimacing, he says "the world's too complex for any man to understand" or something like that.

Of course, I used to listen to Eazy-E in undergrad, so there ya go. 187 um killa.

Oh an internet geek question: When people watch a YouTube that's been embedded somewhere, does that show up in the "Viewed" count at YouTube itself? I.e. is it really true that only 300 people have watched this thing so far (last I checked), or does that not count all the people who watch it here, or at LRC's blog?

I'm sure the counter includes embedded views. However, the counter is not updated as soon as the video is viewed. This is most likely a result of page caching.

Woah woah woah, so awesome... he flashes Boundaries of Order at 1:07.

For those who don't know, that's Butler Shaffer's latest book that deserves to be widely read by libertarians. It is so good, and I'm struggling to keep myself from saying it dethrones the Ethics of Liberty in my opinion. I have no clue why that book is not being talked about to death. So good.

Oh and cool song.

He was interviewed on free talk live in the second hour tonight. He is an anarcho-capitalist, Ron Paul supporter, LewRockwell.com reader...etc.

He talked about being influenced by Ron Paul's Foreign Policy of Freedom, Lew Rockwell's The Left & The Right, and The State, and Butler Shaffer's Boundaries of Order. Good stuff.

This is my favourite vulgar libertarian anarcho-capitalistic rant on Youtube. I think it's pretty great.
