Ari Gold, Based on Ari Emanuel

In this post I quoted this sentence from (Michael Jordan's agent) David Falk's book:
The second person was Mark Dowley, who also worked for me at ProServ and went on to run the marketing department for a large Hollywood agency called Endeavor, which is run by my very good friend Ari Emanuel, the younger brother of Rahm, who is now a congressman from Illinois.
Apparently Ari Emanuel was the inspiration for Ari Gold, the epitome of a type-A personality in the HBO show Entourage. There are a bunch of great compilations of "Ari's Best" on YouTube, but the following was the best I could find that was of manageable length. (The mismatch between video and audio is annoying at first, but you adjust pretty fast.)

Man those Emanuels must be something. (Read about the steak knife incident if you haven't already heard of it.)

Comments:
According to Ari Emmanuel's Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ari_Emanuel),"[Ari] represents Michael Moore... Sacha Baron Cohen, and Mark Wahlberg."
1) Mark Wahlberg is executive producer of Entourage.
2) Sacha Baron Cohen is the actor who played Bruno in the movie Bruno, in which the whole hotel room scene with Ron Paul takes place.
3) Michael Moore.

The other real interesting and more obscure trivia is that the father was a member of the militant Zionist group Irgun, and all three sons took ballet. Rahm being the most accomplished as a graduate of the Evanston School of Ballet as well as winning a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet.

Yeah. And I think Robert Wenzel has some interesting things to say about the third son.

My theory is that they are so bad-*ssed because they were teased as kids for taking ballet. I'm not kidding.
