Ron Paul on the G20 Meeting: Bretton Woods II or III?

Ron Paul is probably the best person in the world to comment on this stuff, because he understands the economics better than 95% of professional economists, and he of course understands politicians better than 100% of professional economists. (HT2LRC)

Comments:
I like Ron's easy going style. These big end of town guys and media mouths are all panicing saying the end of the world is coming if we don't do this or that. Ron sits back and calmly reiterates the basics. Actually this is what all the "lost at sea" / "lost in the wilderness" survival manuals say to do too.

I like his practical down to earth observation that it took 2 years of planning and a global war to boot to produce Bretton Woods 1. These G-20 guys are just engaging in a puppet show for domestic media consumption.

I think Ron Paul is excellent, I'm a big fan. But he's not always precise in his economic reasoning, maybe because he's a trained physician rather than an economist. But at least he draws people's attention to Mises, Hayek, Rothbard by repeating their key insights in layman terms.
