Bob,That's just part of the name change stuff that has been going on. Somebody thought Mises would get more respect if his last name didn't have an "s" at the end.There's also talk of changing the other "s" to a "z".
Taking away the trailing -s would definitely take away the angst when we have to denote something that Ludwig owned.
